I guess the readius (despite it's name) is more for the Smartphone crowd than the ebook lovers. Reading News or even Nespapers on a sub 3" screen like that of most smarthphones is not really a very rewarding experience. It does work, but it's rather limited.
The Readius could have a niche, all those among us who like to have the most up-to-date news on hand at all times and would like to be able to read comfortably might find themselves liking this device since it can always grab the newest headlines OTA, is compact enough to carry around everywhere and has that foldout screen to provide more reading space than similarly compact competitors.
The only thing I'm not so sure ybout is the screen res...it might be a problem, not only for fiction reading but for newspapers as well...
