By some miracle my Glo HD just arrived (shipped on Thursday from Canada to the US via USPS Ground, 2 days). I did have to sign for it though, I just wanted to post so others in the US are warned. It came in a sturdier cardboard wrapper around the boxed reader.
And first impression... A SMOOTH SCREEN AGAIN!
No more sand-papery feeling that's on the Glo, the screen is as smooth as the Sony 350s. (Yes, that weird feeling really bugged me and I never got used to it.)
And this was probably a firmware change somewhere along the line, but now when you enter your long wifi password and it fails to connect, the password is retained... no more entering it repeatedly (I forgot to disable the whitelist until I got the MAC address on first try).
It's fully set up but charging now, haven't put any books on it yet, wanted more to post about a signature required.
