I, for one, know that it was an United Nations vs North Korea/China conflict, and I respect the U.K.'s, as well as the other countries', participation on the side of the United Nations.

Largely because of its military size and economic strength, the U.S. usually steals the spotlight from other participants in a coalition. I remember that being true in the first Gulf war, the second Gulf War, and the campaign in Afghanistan. Recently, I was reminded, in something that I read, that the U.S. was not the only country fighting the war in the Pacific in World War II. It was an allied effort. Sometimes it seems that the U.S. was the only one, based on what we read and see. But, Great Britain was in it, Australia was in it, the free Dutch were in it, and several others.
