@howyoudoin: Is that with fancy chapter headings only or not?

Because I'm not seeing this in the current book I'm reading which has relatively tame headings; but there might be a special behavior for stuff with images forcing a black flash? (again, that'll sound familiar to Kindle owners

).

EDIT: checking on kEpubs, the ePub reader might behave differently.
EDIT²: Nope, same deal.
