Kovid - Yes, the browse button goes back to last selected location when you click it. So, if I click browse button and select Desktop then next time I click it, the location will be Desktop
But the default save text box always starts by offering
%SystemDrive%\Users\{username}\{title}.pdf - irrespective of previous browse location. I never put files in my home directory (that fact that Windows does irritates me no end). It means I always have to hit the browse button
If possible I'd like the default location to always be the most recently used - same as save to disk (S) does. In my case it would usually be Desktop.
