Really love my Kindle books, availability, pricing, etc, but think it's time for Amazon to rethink the aps for Apple and Android. I have only 3 choices of text/backgrounds.. white, black, too glarey for me, buff and brown, not enough contrast for my not so young eyes and black and white for night, which is too overpowering. I prefer the dark gray or dark blue with white for night reading. Much easier on the eyes. Both Kobo and Barnes and Noble have aps with many more reader choices for color schemes and formatting and ease of use. Line spacing would be nice also.
I don't want to have to download, convert if possible and reload.. I just want my ebook sent to my device. Please guys, you are the giant of the industry.... Upgrade your reader aps for us. My Kindle Keyboard is nicer to read on then my Samsung Tab with Kindle apk. Same with Ipad. I think you can see way clear to upgrade the aps..
