May I ask if you ordered this from Kobo or Chapters?
I hear Chapters won't take returns from U.S. customers, they simply refer you to Kobo. I'm wondering if Kobo will provide a refund for a defective device, even if it's purchased from Chapters or an independent bookseller.
I'm always wary of buying first production models, but sometimes I can't help myself and buy it anyway
