You have my sympathy, I have the same problem. I first found out by trying to play Quake with some friends in college. I nearly puked.
I also scared them half to death, they told me I turned pale as a ghost, and was sweating and just looked
awful. Thankfully I felt normal again about 20-30 minutes after ceasing to play.

Correct, can't hurt to find something cheap to buy to be on the safe side. Even if you don't want or use it, if it keeps the rest of your coins from expiring it's well worth it.
I bought Monument Valley yesterday because it does look fun, so I'm hopefully good till next year.
