We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up everybody and sing

Everyone can see we're together
As we walk on by
(FLY!) and we fly just like birds of a feather
I won't tell no lie
(ALL!) all of the people around us they say
Can they be that close
Just let me state for the record
We're giving love in a family dose

Good morning, everyone! Happy Thursday! We've a house guest for the next few days. My 'nephew-in-law' has come to visit from Japan! This is is first trip abroad, actually, his first trip outside his home prefecture, and he's been in a state of shock since he landed last night. Big eyes and big grin! He 'thought' he knew what 'spice foods' meant and heartily dug into a plate of what Thais think of when they say 'spicy.' He had to alternate between mouth-fulls of the food and sips of honey to cut the burn. (NOTHING works as well as honey to reduce the pain. MUCH better than milk or yogurt.) Didn't slow him down though!

I'm drinking a mug of unbranded Keemun tea this morning as we wait for him to wake up for breakfast. Today will be a full day of local Chiang Mai sight-seeing, making the rounds of the more important temples and the larger street markets, then tonight we'll visit the "Night Safari," a night-time guided wild animal enclosure and cabaret show. Film at 11.
