I thought my fellow Mobilereaders would like to know: I am now a father!
My son, Seraphim, was born yesterday evening, more than 48 hours since my wife's waters broke.
He is a big boy (4.2 kg / 9 pounds 5.63 ounces, 58 cm / 1' 10.83" long) and unfortunately getting him out of his mother became even more of a dramatic event when he got stuck. Getting him out required hurting her and a suction cup, and he needed CPR for 45 seconds until he breathed independently.
He and mama are safe and sound now, although both are somewhat sore.
I am so happy to be a father! I am looking forward with more time with both of them. Happy days indeed!
