Und ich bin gerade dabei die Asbjörn-Krag-Krimis weg zu schmökern.

Vom Stil her erinnern sie mich an Harald Harst von Walther Kabel. Nun ja, die Autoren waren ja auch Zeitgenossen. Was aber eigentlich überhaupt nichts zu sagen hat. Z.B. Edgar Wallace ist auch dieselbe Zeit, hat aber einen anderen Stil.
