The trivia codes are good on most small publisher books (Baen, for example) and indie works and all smashwords books (so small publishers who publish through smashwords. There are several). The codes almost never work on the big publishers. There's a line on the left sidebar that lets you eliminate the books that don't work with codes after you do a search. It's usually accurate.
