That's true, PeterT. But there are those that will.

Now I have found the html in "content.opf" within <manifest><manifest \> and, there, the image list is in the order I want. But it stays chaotic on opening a new view of the epub.

It looks as though it is something I cannot achieve - at least not without going into deeper coding than I am familiar with.
