DDG doesn't do the garbling, but it's started to insist it knows best when it comes to 'mispelt' search terms <grhhh>.

Wishing for Security Fixes only releases was little more than idle thought. I do think they could make more of the 'new features' optional rather than forcing users to track down extensions that restore things back to the way they were - especially appearance stuff, most of which is copy catted from Chrome.

ESR sounds like a make work racket. Not surprised schools like it, that's what they seem to excel at these days - administrivia.
