I'm not sure what this means. For stuff like this I use an HTML editor that saves files as plain text. I think TextEdit (Mac) and Notepad (Windows) does the same thing. Is that what means *nix line endings?
Also, do I need a line ending after the end of the 8 numbers?

Don't use line ending. There is my file in attachment.
Edit: Extract it first. It is in ZIP, because I couldn't upload file with no extension.
