I then copy the files into the root of my Kindle drive when it is connected via USB. Is this correct?

Edit: BTW, you have to restart to take affect.

Wow. This seems too easy, which makes me think I'm missing something

Just to make sure I'm not, let me lay this out step by step:
1. Create 2 plain text files named FONT_RAMP and CJK_FONT_RAMP (the latter only needed if using Chinese characters). Be sure to delete any extension if one is created.
2. Type in the following values: 7.49 8.43 9.37 10.31 11.25 12.19 13.13 14.07 —
NEW INFO: as of 5.8.11, you need to input 14 values, not 8
- The text files should contain only 14 numbers and nothing else, yes? [Answer: Yes]
- Am I thinking correctly that I can adjust the above numbers until I get the font sizes I desire? [Answer: Yes]
- Are the above numbers the default values used on a stock Kindle? If not, what are the above numbers? [See post #22 for default values pre-5.8.11]
3. Connect Kindle Voyage to computer via USB and copy into root??
When I connect my Kindle and double-click the icon to show what's inside, it shows one folder named "documents" (in which are my ebooks). "Root" would mean copying the text files into the main directory, not into any folders, yes? [Answer: Yes]
4. Restart Kindle.
Does all this sound right?
If I want to revert to original settings, do I just delete the text files and restart Kindle? [Answer: Yes]
Forgive me if the questions are obvious. I am not comfortable playing with stuff like this and need even more hand-holding than shalym
Thank you!
