Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I did try everything the FAQ spoke about, including starting Calibre in Safe Mode and I am still unable to import any books into my existing library.

The program still completely freezes up. Firewall and AV are disabled and I have not installed anything new since I encountered this problem. Prior to the update to 2.25 everything worked fine.

Please advise further.
