I just increase the brightness level to 3+ to not encounter this while using Firefox for example, where it happens more often.
But overall the whole device works and responds better after this update. This issue also happens much less often than before which is good; I've not yet seen any 'flicker' happen while reading reflowed text on Moon+ Reader Pro (in the lowest brightness level or level 2). As I said, I think this happens more often while using apps that do more page-refreshes or display less "static" content!

Ok, thanks for confirming this. Is exactly how mine is behaving! Good to know that I don't have a faulty device. They might fix it in a future update and in any case its not such a big issue. Overall I am really happy with the device!
