Hi DoctorWkt,

I have the Lynx version. I use it for a motorcycle navigation hobby project.
Let me first say that I'm not really an Android expert.

Edit: How can I move apps out to the external SD card? I'm happy to root the device.
I installed the Nova launcher. Then you can use the "move to SD card" in the normal Android app settings.
All was done without the need to root. However, for other reasons I decided to root my T68 a couple of days ago. After some trial and error I succeeded by using an old version of Towelroot (v1). Can still be found in some dark corners of the internet.

My main uses for the T68 will be as an e-book reader, as a bushwalking maps device with OruxMaps, and possibly as a remote ssh terminal client. Has anybody run OruxMaps on the T68 using an external GPS unit?
Yes I did. Worked fine here in combination with a cheap but rock-solid Nokia LD-3W external Bluetooth GPS receiver. I had to install "Bluetooth GPS Provider" and set "Allow mock locations" in the Androids Developer options. At the moment I stick to Osmand as I find it more convenient for my purposes.

Has anybody used a Bluetooth keyboard with the T68?
Works fine with my old Motorola Bluetooth keyboard. Mouse also no problem.

I saw forum posts about apps to put the display into landscape mode, and to hide the soft keyboard, so I'll try them out once I get the device.
Installing "Set Orientation" did the job. Works like a charm. After booting everything is nicely in landscape
Now I only need to find a way to change the lockscreen picture (which was designed for portrait).

Cheers, Vince
