Is the source of the books ON the same system?
D&D behaves way different if the source is on a Networked drive:
You can D&D NEW titles direct from a network folder into the List area
If you are trying to Update a existing Book (Add/replace a format), D&D only works on a local drive . Net_drive=>Desktop=>Details pane
