I'd mostly agree with what folks have said here. I first decided to get a Boox due to eyestrain ... I'd used a very old Kindle and my eyes said "Yes! More of that! That's okay."
Unfortunately my experience with Boox devices has been pretty bad: I won't recount the saga of me and the M92 because it's become tired; I'm doing my best to get the M96 to a place where I can use it regularly but at the moment trying to use it only makes my blood pressure spike, which is not good for me. Kuskro's posts re: optimization look really good and I'm glad to have been pointed to them -- so I am VERY guardedly optimistic, but have prepared myself to just write the product off as an expensive boondoggle, and myself as a gullible fool.
