Yep. Use a patch cable to connect the headphone output of an old tape player (still have your old Walkman?) to the line in of your computer. The Windows "Sound Recorder" utility will work, but the (free) Audacity will be a lot better in the long run. (I have used the Linux version of Audacity for years, and have an older version of the Windows package on an old XP box.)

Another option is to get a digital audio recorder that takes SD cards. Do the same patch cable connection, record to the SD card, then read it into your computer.
