Unfortunately I have to agree with you. It's a shame B&N lost their nerve right in midstream. It's not the Barnes & Noble Nook infrastructure I'm defending, it's their devices (at least the NST, I don't own the Glowlight) that I like. These devices work fine with ePubs from other sources.
