Angry After New Update (2.24) Calibre Does Not Recognize iPad

I updated Calibre to 2.24 and update my iOS to 8.3 and now when I connect my iPad and reinstalled the plugins necessary for Calibre to work with Marvin and iPad, I get a message that states it was unable to access my device and then Calibre unexpectedly quits. Is anyone else having this problem? Can you please help? Thanks
