I remember lots of arguing about it. I suppose I don't really remember the result. But, when I get a gap at the bottom of the screen and think it could fit another line, when I have a closer look, I usually decide that there wasn't quite enough space. That's excluding the occasional problem where the last line of a chapter is on a new page, and I haven't seen that much lately.
