I certainly see nothing "ridiculous" about book prices: I'm paying a heck of a lot less for ebooks now than I was for paper books 15 years ago. The typical price I pay on Amazon for an ebook is £4-5, which for something which provides several hours of high-quality entertainment seems good value for money.
