Bummer. It will definitely cut down on my purchases as well. I'm sure the folks at Harlequin/Carina are not happy about it. They were big on pointing out how they weren't agency back when the Agnecy stuff first went into affect.
The Harlequin site at least occasionally has coupons like today's $5 off $15. The Carina site rarely has such coupons. I have a ton of Carina titles in my library. But I will be hesitant to try new authors there if I have to pay full price (even if most of their books are not $7.99+).
