Since Harlequin & Carina (and Avon) are competing more directly with small pubs (like Samhain, Liquid Silver, etc.) and self-pubs all of which can be discounted this could turn out to be very bad for them. I've read more than once that Harlequin (overall) is losing market share to these other outlets quite a bit and this just gives the competitors one more advantage.
Wonder what this bodes for coupons on the Harlequin site (not that they're always great) and the rewards program.
