We have a WINNER! I've been searching for new toys to liven up family play time - feather on a string & mouse on a string are getting old - and found this:

I was reluctant to try it - Stella is very easily frightened by 'snakey' things that wrap around her - but she loves it! All 3 love it - even Sammie (the 'bowling ball with legs') was yowling & jumping off the floor to grab it in her mouth!
