If there was a tablet (with all the advantages of a tablet, such as color and high-speed screen) that was as easily readable as an e-ink device on a bright day outside (or in public transport, for that matter), while still offering 4-5 days of battery usage, I would never buy an e-ink reader again.
Being able to read in extremely bright conditions while still having good battery life are the only reasons I still want to have an e-reader.
