Is there something about the official 64-bit version that doesn't work for you, Jon? You've never struck me as someone who is remotely interested in audio/video in ebooks (in fact, you've always seem adamantly opposed ). And that's the only functionality (besides providing XP users a viable option) that my builds are going provide that the official version doesn't.
Still, I probably will provide
additional 32/64-bit packages that include the qt plugins necessary to play audio/video in Win7 and higher at some point.
Qt5 QWebView video/audio support in XP and Vista is unfortunately flaky at best. Both seem to rely upon DirectShow instead of the later Windows Media Foundation backend. All video/audio support may or may not be affected by ANGLE vs OpenGL versions of Qt5 on Windows, as well. We'll see.
I'm going to do some experimenting before I post anything.
