Personally I use Kindle Unlimited to put a lid on my book purchases. With the program I am guaranteed, if I get all my books within the program, that my book spending will be no more than $10 a month. That's the cost of 1 1/8 books for me, which is a good deal. I refuse to pay any more than $8 per book, no one is worth more than that I do not care who they are.
