koreader uses basically the same suspend script as KSM did until version 6. Since I used suspend only for short time breaks, and otherwise powered the reader off, I did not notice that suspending by KSM did not work reliabily. Serveral times I had the feeling that the reader woke up from suspend by itself, but at that time I was unsure whether I had really activated suspend, or whether the touch on the suspend option was not registered (KSM did not show a dedicated suspend screen, therefore this was not so evident). But at a certain point I found that suspend did definitely not work as expected. The reader woke up after an unpredictable amount of time. My guess was that there is some wake up mechanism, the value of the wake up time unset, and therefore at random. Since I am lacking knowledge about linux in general (and was not much interested in putting my reader in suspend state anyway), I removed the suspend option from KSM in order to prevent battery drainage. Maybe the vlasovsoftlauncher version of the suspend script is the solution. If not, you can try another thing:
