I've seen them. I love the Dot casting. I'm a bit more ambiguous in my feelings about the casting for Miss Fisher herself, as in the books, she's 28, not 40+. And while the actress is certainly in extraordinary shape, and I credit her for that, she's not 28. Nor even 38. She would, I concur, have been absolutely freaking perfect for Ms. Fisher 10 years ago, but she's just a teeny, weeny bit--I hate to say it, I do--too old for the part.

Nonetheless, as you say, lovely fun. Speaking of shows from Down Under, what did you think of the Mr. and Mrs. Murder thing?

And if anyone wants, I can get very rant-y about the casting of Miss Fisher, to keep this thread vexed. I do have ONE big one today:
