Yes you can easily download from Dropbox. I automatically convert epubs to kepubs when sending via Calibre and if download an ePub from Dropbox on the rare occasion I've needed to I find the ePub display on the screen quite bad. So if you are used to reading kepubs my suggestion to to ensure you have kepubs in Dropbox.
