Is there a speed reader application for ePubs on Mac?

On iPhone there is an app called Quickreader (see below) which has really cool features like a visual pacer you can set to move at a certain WPM (words per minute), auto-advance/paging, can test your reading speed as you read, etc in addition to normal reading mode and it works with epubs, too. I'd love to have something just like this on my Mac where I do a lot of reading.



The closest I've seen is Artreader which was posted here but the ePub abilities seem to be broken and development of it seems to be stalled. The other is Acereader which is a solid program but can only copy in text files.
