I thought the Aura display was terrible
because of the capacative touch layer they put over the e-ink display. It made the text look fuzzy and introduced a lot of "scratches" (they're actually points in the plastic used for capacitive touch recognition). It totally ruined the display.
Amazon did a much better job with the Voyage because they used glass (iirc) which kept the display crystal clear and "scratch" free. Of course, this increased the price and the fragility of the device.
I'm afraid the IR vs Capacitive war will never end, but IR is much better for an e-reader IMO.
