Even if you've got 20 pairs of gloves, the linked article in my post was to a DIY method. They provide a link to buy the capacitive thread by the foot, which should be more than enough to cover the tips of each finger for a reasonable price.

I can understand not buying touch screen gloves outright, most places charge more than they're really worth.
