Well, after looking at the video I see no difference in speed or responsiveness of the device compared with other Kobo models (old Glo and newer models).
The latency of the touch screen is still there and the also the speed of page turns doesn't look any faster. This is fast enough for daily use but I have absolutely no doubt that these two points will be mentioned in most serious reviews. Definitely if they do a face to face shoot out. It will be cleary visible and noticeable.

I can understand why Kobo chose to ditch the mSD slot but I don't understand why they didn't improve the overall speed and responsiveness of the device as this are known weaknesses of Kobo devices. IMHO a missed opportunity.
