I think it's different at each parish and I seem to recall in ours it's being changed to around eight or nine at night(don't trust me, though, I'm hopeless trying to remember timetables). Since we don't usually start dinner until after ten, it's no so bad.The reason given I seem to remember was to make it easier on the families to be together at home or something like that.
