Not sure if this'll work or not, but feel free to try it. It's a 90% refer-a-friend-code that a "friend" just sent me, I opened a new Kobo account with the email it came to, and then I tried to use it. It didn't work, giving the error message as though it'd already been used (despite them having sent it to me just 10 minutes or so earlier).
I already used 90% codes on my existing Kobo accounts, so assume it won't work for them. But maybe it'll work for someone? If so, please let me know, as I'm curious about the vagaries of Kobo!
