I liked the H2O out of the box, the larger screen was my main draw, the better res than the rest of the market (at the time) was another, waterproofing was a nice add on but wasn't a major draw.
The updates to firmware and the patches and other hacks here have basically given me all the functionality I want (easier screensaver switching would be nice, but the random option via a patch isn't bad).
Even with the discovery of the Glo HD, I'd still go for an H2O, the 35 DPI bump in screen res that the Glo HD boasts over the H2O doesn't, in my opinion, out weigh the increased real estate of the H2O.
