These new-fangled writers leave a lot to be desired.

Butcher's just a guy who continues to rewrite his character's adventures, churning them out one after another like a robot on oily drugs. Anderson had somethin' or other to do with Herbert, didn't he? Doggone it! Doggone it all!

Why isn't Edmond Hamilton, Clifford D. Simak, and Jack Williamson on the list?

Someone said they were dead, but I don't buy that crap. That's no excuse where I come from.

Give me the good old authors of yesteryear, when science fiction made sense and reading was fun - where no astronaut had to use the bathroom.
