And if people keep buying them (whether she writes them or not) they will find SOMEONE to write them. It is one series where I read quite a few of the books, but I stopped at 10--and wished I'd stopped at 8.
But it was a good run with some fun moments. Some readers are extremely loyal to a series--it's a case of wanting to spend time with old friends, I think. And with all the books available, buying tried and true is easier than sorting new stuff!
