Ok, I noticed one annoying bug in Neoreader when handling pdfs. Here's how it looks step by step:
1. Open the menu bar;
2. Choose some option e.g. crop page, embolden or simply close the menu bar;
3. Now the menu bar cannot be opened again and the d-pad does not respond unless I enter scribble mode (there's a new short-cut for that - tapping the centre of the screen) and scribble some random stuff.
4, Scribbling random stuff opens the scribble bar.
5. Close the scribble bar - now the menu bar can be opened, and the d-pad works properly again.
This does not happen if you reflow the pdf beforehand.
It's not a big deal, but might be annoying when you want to crop the pdf and embolden the text immediately before reading (as I usually do).
On the positive side, battery life seems to be ok.
