Thanks for this info. I've used the instructions from here:
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=255435
and finally upgraded the firmware. I got tired of waiting for the ArtaTech update. They've been silent since September. With the international firmware most of the stuff is working well.

Comparing to the ArtaTech Build 041be89 Firmware:
- You can finally use a custom StarDict and check up words with the book opened.
- The highlighting and scribbling in NeoReader is way more comfortable and precise + everything can be exported!
- On the whole NeoReader feels less buggy, though it could still use a few tweaks in the controls deprartment.
- You really can change the screensaver/off-mode images with a couple of clicks.
- the device feels faster... or maybe I'm just finally satisfied with it.

Not sure about battery life. It was already perfect in the ArtaTech version, so I hope nothing changed in this department. One thing I did notice is that the power-level indicator seems to be more precise (but still not great).

One thing changed for the worse. The Google Play store doesn't allow me to install the dropbox app saying it's incompatible with my device. Anyone experiencing similar problems?

Of course the ArtaTech version had better TTS, but I don't need it anyway. I highly recommend this update if you're tired of waiting for AT.
