You said this before and I will answer you again: CC does *not* require the server to be up 24/7. In fact, CC does not require a server at all. You use calibre to transfer your library, or as much of it as you wish, to CC on your device. From that point CC and your device can be off line. No servers, no cloud, no internet at all.
