I've no problem with slower-than-normal shipping in exchange for something worthwhile (I often used it for the ebook credits), but when the $6 credit doesn't actually earn me any practical savings in the long run... then I'll stick with the free two-day shipping, thanks!
Perhaps those who can't easily get to a decent market (or who live far enough in the boondocks to be exploited by the only One-Stop-Shop in town) will find the offer attractive, however. I'm sure they've done their due-marketing-diligence.

I think *this* may be their due-marketing-diligence - if they can't entice people to use it with free shipping, it's not worth continuing. It seems like a way to get people used to using Prime Pantry so they might want to continue using it without the credit.
