Can't speak to the UK--but the notice when I was logged in to check my account/files mentioned that if you have prime, you're basically not affected--well, I updated this below because there is a bit of a change. Okay from other posters, updated to add: PRIME is affected in that they can have unlimited photos but only 5GB storage included for OTHER things like video and I assume documents/backup/music.
