I never expected to see a widespread 90% coupon again, so I was wrong about that. But what's interesting to me is that Kobo is getting much smarter about codes. Not just the one per account aspect which is a no-brainer, but they're finally verifying locations to an extent to exclude people and the coupons are only visible in emails instead of being generated on the web page. Those are monumental changes. The party's winding down at Kobo.

Still, for what it's worth, I read this promotion for Kobo's being shocked that the monthly contests aren't generating the business they used to. They're the only ones shocked. It is bizarre to run this promotion at the same time as the monthly contest.
